How to Join BITS Pilani's Higher Degree Programmes

Admission to BITS Pilani's Higher Degree programmes is offered through three pathways.

Through GATE

Through GATE

Interested and eligible candidates can apply to all the Higher Degree Programmes (except M.E. Software Systems) based on GATE (for M.E.)/ GPAT (for M. Pharm.) score.

Through BITSHD

Through BITSHD Test

Interested and eligible candidates can apply to all the Higher Degree Programmes based on the marks obtained in the computer based BITS Higher Degree conducted by BITS.

Both GATE and BITSHD

Both GATE and BITSHD

Consideration for admission based on both GATE/GPAT scores and marks obtained in the BITS HD Test.

Eligibility and Duration

1. Candidates need at least 60% marks in their qualifying B.E./B.Pharm degree exam.

2. Admission to all M.E. and M.Pharm programs is based on BITS HD test scores or valid GATE/GPAT scores.

3. Programs typically last four semesters.
